For the second consecutive year our country will participate in the World Surfing Games of ISA (International Surfing Association). HSSA proves once again the seriousness with which it treats its position as a representative of ISA. Our continued presence in the only recognised world championship is now established as an institution.
The 1st Official Contest of Surfing in Greece held at 24-25/3 in Paleochora, Chania, with great success and was the official qualification for the Greek athlete who will represent our country at the World Surfing Championship organised by the ISA in Japan.
Our athlete Nicholas Plytas, who prevailed in the rest of his teammates, was the one who won the qualification and on September 15-22nd he will attend in Tahara, Japan and will fight amongst hundreds of surfing athletes from other countries.
Nickolas Plytas will be accompanied by the President Mr. Charalambos Savvakis and the Curator Mr. Angelos Boutsikas, as our presence again in the general assembly of ISA members is essential.
We wholeheartedly wish the Greek mission to be successful!
